There is something about carved wooden doors in Europe that captivates me. Many are beautifully works of art. Some are centuries old. Some are in cathedrals, but others are on ordinary city streets. You don't see many doors like this in the United States.

Hey Dad - Dave here - you lulled me into complacenecy by not posting here for 4 months... but low and behold here you are, at it again. These doors do look crazy good. I like the Eagle door from Florence the best. However, and don't kill me here, I have seen some pretty nice looking doors built up with various purchased moldings applied on a plain solid core door....I guess if you watch woodworking/home shows on PBS long enough you see ways to cheat...
